What Happens Next At Lakota: Let the labor union strike, quit, and take their six-figure paychecks with them–then hire better people

At Lakota schools, people have tasted what fighting for the right things can provide. With the community support that decided that they couldn’t deal with Matt Miller’s behavior as superintendent of Lakota schools ending with him resigning under tremendous pressure, there is a feeling of victory that, for many, feels pretty good. A few months prior, everything seemed pretty bleak; the system was rigged against the taxpayers, and we would be forced to put up with bad behavior while our kids were held hostage by the teacher’s union. But the community behind the efforts of their representative, Darbi Boddy, the first-year school board member, had a high standard that the employees like Matt Miller found they couldn’t live up to or simply refused to. So he turned in his resignation letter and complained about a hostile work environment, hostile because there were community members who just couldn’t deal with the sexual lifestyle he exhibited during a messy divorce, and against significant opposition, they could taste victory. So what happens now? We all hear the threats from the Matt Miller supporters, the threats that the teachers are all thinking of quitting. That Matt Miller’s friends and staff at Lakota are going to soon be joining him and leaving the district, and of course, the worry there is that nobody will want to work at Lakota schools, and the report card will be devastated from the state and if the school district goes down, so will the community’s real estate. If the school isn’t any good, then people won’t want to move to the area, and everything will fall apart, and it will all be Darbi Boddy’s fault! That’s what they are saying, anyway. So what do we do now?

Well, I’ve heard all this before, and all those fear tactics are labor union strategies that they worked out a long time ago when their pal John Dewey came up with the progressive idea for public education to begin with. They never intended to just teach kids about reading and writing; they were purposely intent on social engineering. They wanted to get kids away from their parents and reteach them how to be liberal-minded activists. They used to hide it more than they do these days, but that is what Critical Race Theory is all about, and why suddenly, sex education is so important to them as early as possible. Anybody who thinks about sex as much as these educators do has serious mental problems, and they shouldn’t be teaching anybody anything. But people in a community believe after years of propaganda that a public school is a key to their real estate value, so they turn a blind eye to these crazy liberal losers who run these palaces of deceit and mistrust and roll the dice hoping that everything will turn out OK. Well, I have totally different ideas about these kinds of things and how to manage them, and it’s taken a while for enough people to have the desire to try something different and they want to have more success, leaving them hungry for what’s next. To that point, I would say that electing Darbi Boddy to the Lakota school board was a great success for the kind of parents who want what’s best for their kids and want a really high standard for their community. Not some fake PR campaign that hires some radical leftist superintendent who gets a bunch of awards and national recognition for the same reason that Sam Smith got a Grammy for performing a devil-worshipping ceremony on a broadcast sponsored by Pfizer because they advance a liberal radical agenda that wants to support mask mandates and openly gay lifestyles in public school. I think people want real quality in their schools, and perhaps, for the first time in their lives, they can get a taste of what that might look like. 

Believe Sam Smith when he says he’s not here to make friends. Trying to be their friend is a waste of time.

To that point, we first need to elect more school board members like Darbi Boddy. I have learned about Darbi over this past year, aside from any political viewpoints, that she really cares about the kids of all families. Every time I have spoken to her, that’s the first thing she always talks about, no matter how crazy the events around her have been. She cares about our community’s children and wants what’s best for them. If only we could get a few more school board candidates like that, then I think we could get the band back together and run a campaign like we did when Darbi was elected the first time. But of course, the most significant opposition to that will be the LEA labor union. They have been very hostile toward Darbi. If there are more school board members like her, there will be trouble, a lot of staff and administrators will leave, and there will be drama. I would say to everyone that it would be great if they left. If they did, there would be room for better employees to join Lakota who genuinely wants to work for a quality district, and that quality starts on the school board. When a culture of quality is established, then the employees follow, and there are a lot of teachers and administrators who are forced to hide their conservative values, and they would love to work for a school board that reflects their personal values. So I think we’d end up with the opposite situation to the fears espoused by the union. 

Without question, there will be a standoff with a truly conservative school board during the next contract negotiation. The union will strike. They don’t care at all about the kids of Lakota schools; for them, it’s all about politics and a paycheck. They are not like Darbi Boddy and any board members that might be able to join her in a future election. I’ve been down this road many times professionally, and the roadmap for dealing with it is quite clear. Let the teachers strike and show who they really are. We’ve already had work stoppages due to Covid, so the parents will support the school board if they push the union into a strike. The most radical employees will leave and take their six-figure paychecks with them. That would be great. That would allow Lakota to hire younger teachers who make half as much money and don’t have all the liberal radicalism built into them after years of union activism. And Lakota could recruit truly better people who want to live in a conservative area run by a conservative school board and have teachers teaching the basics of education like math, science, and real history instead of how to put a condom on a banana in the first grade and how to be a gender-neutral satan worshipper jamming to Sam Smith in class while they should be learning things. Failure to do things like stand up to the Matt Miller types in the world will just destroy kids anyway, so there is no harm in shaking things up a bit and making a public spectacle of it so that word gets out across the country about what kind of place Lakota is, and the right employees will be drawn to it. And that’s what happens next. By getting more school board members like Darbi Boddy, Lakota could truly become an outstanding school instead of a fake one on paper while swinging lifestyles are taught to the children by the administrators who have loose sexual desires and a social value system that is in all actuality, reprehensible. Running liberals off won’t destroy the school; it will make it far more desirable than any zip code in the nation. Because the little secret that nobody talks about in real estate in the open is that the primary driver of all real estate transactions is due to politics, not schools. People move away from liberals and to areas of conservative value 100% of the time. And they’ll do it at Lakota once the line is drawn in the sand with a firmly conservative school board. It will help the school and community. It certainly won’t hurt it.

The Lakota Education Association Shows Their Radical Political Agenda: Teacher unions are the biggest danger to kids

It used to be controversial, to tell the truth about labor unions. All of them are the works of Karl Marx. Participating in a labor union is an acceptance of the basic premise of communism. Even four years ago, saying such a thing in public would have received snickers from an unsuspecting public; since the mid-1850s, labor unions have been around. They don’t predate our constitutions in America or the basic philosophy of the country’s founding, which is best summed up by the rival philosophy of Adam Smith and his excellent book The Wealth of Nations. The alarm bells of the communist movement by socialist sympathizers emerged with immigration into America during the late 1880s aggressively. Those rivals brought with them the assumption that European socialism, represented by the labor movement, the federal “Department of Labor,” was intent on carrying on the work of the poor loser, Karl Marx, who was a fool in his lifetime, and a weapon of global governments in his death. Everywhere that there is a labor union, we are dealing with some form of communism. In the 1920s, alarm bells sounded in books like The Richest Man in Babylon. Then in the 1940s and 1950s with, Ayn Rand’s uniquely American books addressed the matter. The idea of wealth creation and social organization were under attack by these recent communist assumptions, and over many decades they wore the mask of patriotism, confusing their members into believing that by espousing communist ideas, that they were somehow being patriotic. 

And the destructive effects of the labor movement were never more obvious in the teaching profession, as the radical progressive John Dewey imagined the role of public education. No matter how much money is spent with confiscated tax money from property values, all socialist schemes that predate all our lifetimes, public education will fail because it has been built on the progressive fantasies of John Dewey and his supporters in government and the communist labor union ideas of the various teacher unions. But things are different now; we’ve grown up in a lot of ways from the kind of world we were before President Trump was in office. Many things that were said about labor unions, and even the communist scares of the McCarthy hearings, turned out to be more true than anybody wanted to admit. Now, as we look at the trash heap of our political landscape, people are now admitting to the obvious. Labor unions don’t represent American values, and they have no place in the education of our children. Too many people listened to the labor union diatribes that have embedded themselves into many of our government institutions, and the collision of ideas was always bound to happen. It’s no longer about good wages for teachers, and smaller classrooms, as they have disguised their movement for years from public judgement; what it was always about, which I have warned people over three decades, is blue-haired losers who want to teach kids about sex in kindergarten, and convince them to embark on perverse sexual lifestyles at the earliest age possible. The results of the labor movement’s political escapades have devastated families, and the evidence has mounted up into a modern admission where people are finally willing to say the quiet stuff out loud. No labor union in a public school is good. They aren’t good for the kids. They aren’t good for the community. And they are anti-America at their very foundations and never should have been included in anything “public.” When people cry out that public schools should never be about “politics,” they simply have ignored that teacher unions are 100% about politics, and if they are not dealt with “politically,” then they will continue to erode away the basic hopes of anything good happening with tax money helping children learn the basics of an education. 

And that is the context of the battle raging in Lakota schools these days, where the Lakota Education Association, without a thought in their head, published to their members an antagonizing memo, shown here, trying to get their members to show up at a school board meeting and harass the first year school board member Darbi Boddy. Darbi, for her part, has made public admissions that she feels about the labor union, similar to my position, where she sees them as an impediment to the education of children, which is well founded. And the union responded by saying regarding a recent meeting, “You were under attack at this January 9th meeting by Ms. Boddy. She stated that she did not want to work with the LEA. We need to continue to show our union is strong, and it is not her choice that we have a voice!” Their activism resulted in a loud meeting with the threat of violence looming over everything obvious, meant to intimidate any supporters of Darbi Boddy who might dare to speak. And when many did, the union members didn’t have anything to offer but implied violence as a result. There is no logical debate that they can have because the foundation of their movement is communism straight out of The Communist Manifesto. So, they have violence and intimidation to support their claims of existence. But Darbi represents the voters of the community, who are in charge of everything, and that right predates anything Karl Marx ever wrote. So she is right to have an opinion on the matter, where the union has a mentality of changing it or getting rid of her. With that mindset, obviously, things were going to get pushy at the meetings. Finally, we are uncovering the real problem in these public schools because Darbi has had the guts to expose it by finally representing the public in public. And the LEA labor union hates it.

Labor unions are the primary danger to Lakota’s kids and all public schools. Their progressive mentality is corrosive to all efforts the human race might attempt to utilize, and years of their conduct are easily seen with history to support a destructive opinion of their foundations in philosophy. Follow the teachings of the labor union members, and you’ll get destroyed families—dangerous sexual lifestyles. You’ll raise corporate stooges who put money above family creation and will end up lost and destroyed as mature adults. You’ll end up with the kind of government we see today, ineffective, too expensive, and unaccountable. To be fair, I can’t think of one possible good thing that ever came out of a labor union, and the kind of society they are teaching to kids are promises of personal destruction. So their assumption that they have a right to exist is only a parasitic promise to steal wealth from hard-working property owners and use that money to destroy the community by destroying the kids in the process. I wouldn’t want any kids to be taught by the losers who attended that January 23rd school board meeting. I am glad that Darbi Boddy is a school board member who is willing to stand up to those hostile forces. And for the sake of the children attending Lakota schools, I would like to see at least two more school board members like Darbi Boddy, perhaps more aggressive than she is, there to govern that mess. The more who do, the more desperate the union members will become, showing the world what they are really made of. If left alone, they will continue to hide their liberal radicalism behind a façade of politeness. But when pressured, as they have been with Darbi Boddy, they show their true nature, which is wonderful for voters to see, and people will be able to see for themselves what the truth of the issue always has been.

Public Schools are Dens of Evil: They are anti-Family, and anti-American

It has been nice not to talk about Lakota schools much over the last several years. As a public school in my community, I think it would be fair to say that I hate them. I see them as a massive waste of time. Their employees are detriments to our community, and the institution itself is an infusion of liberalism into an otherwise very conservative community. I tend not to pay much attention to them so long as they don’t ask for money by way of increased taxes. But, over this past year, I have had my fill of their bad management, wasted money, and perverse lifestyles, and it has reminded me of why I have hated the concept of public schools for much of my life. Lakota had been experiencing declining enrollment in a community that has been aging. But the property values have been going up, so the revenue at Lakota was good and kept them from asking for more money for many years now. But they recklessly spent their surplus and have been behaving like drunken sailors and living the lifestyle of it as well. Now, much of that bad behavior has come to the surface and been a grim reminder of precisely what is bad about public education. And for me, it’s that public schools, all public schools, are anti-family. 

No matter how much history you study, how much sociology is explored, and what the contents of philosophy are, there is nothing more important to a good society than the quality of individual families. Without the concept of a good family, people are doomed, and countries are sure to fall. Speaking with the benefit of hindsight, which I have been saying for more than four decades, those who have advocated easy divorce, free babysitting in public schools for parents too busy for their children, and reckless sexual lifestyles, a culture of intoxication, and gay relationships as marriage alternatives have had the malicious intent to destroy our country, by destroying our families. It’s obvious now to most people. It wasn’t always so straightforward because it used to be that families were so strong that people took good ones for granted. And these progressive lifestyles have been slowly introduced to us over a long time through our governments, our legal system, and specifically through public education to erode the concept of the American family. For me, family has always been the most important thing in life, and I have made great sacrifices to have a good one. My wife and I homeschooled our kids when they were little in spurts. We had no family support, and socially it was very difficult. By the time my kids were seniors in high school, they were finishing off their time with computer classes and spent their senior years living in Europe to complete their educations. I always gave them the kind of education I knew they were not getting from public education or society. They are in their 30s now, and they are great kids. They are so much better because they didn’t get destroyed in public education. Looking back on it, I wish I could have kept them entirely out of public education because all it did was harm them; it certainly didn’t help.

The public education concept of letting very liberal strangers babysit and raise a family’s children has been horrible for our country. At the same time, the parents live messed up lives putting their careers, and their sexual desires ahead of raising their children in a healthy lifestyle were bad from the beginning. A marriage is a man and a woman who get together and have children. Then they fight it out for many decades together no matter what happens to provide for their children a good and stable life. Being married isn’t about your feelings or your sexual desires. It’s not about getting attention from someone outside the marriage. You get married, stay true to your spouse, and work together to raise good children in a healthy and intellectual environment. You talk as a family. You make decisions as a family. And you stick together and make a great country by being a good family.

Public education seeks to make a menace out of that concept and is a vehicle for local distribution of liberal values that are anti-family in nature. When we hear transgender discussions or sexual alternatives being introduced to kids, we see the arrogance of a public school embedded in our communities, living off taxpayers’ property values and seeking to undo the community from within with anti-family values. And they have smiles on their faces while they do their deeds. And the proof of that arrogance comes out in the lifestyle of the progressive employees. We have certainly seen the evidence at Lakota schools more than we ever wanted to know. But worse, they are intent on justifying their bad behavior with the overall mission of public schools in general, an attack on the American family and the desecration of all that stands behind the value of a mom and a dad working hard to raise good kids to make a good world and a good country. We often find with public schools that the employees themselves openly seek to destroy this concept in everything they do. Over the years, their behavior has led to the destruction of our society in all the ways we can see today. 

The idea that children belong to the state is the central premise. Of course, they never come out and say what they are thinking because if they did, the public school ruse would fall apart, as it has in Lakota. Their assurance to the busy parents is that their children are cared for by the public school and that the shared partnership of the children is something the parents can rely on. From there, over the years, the parents feel that they can do what they want and live out whatever they desire without consequences to their family because the good public school has the raising of children taken care of. But often, all too late, they realize that the public school is the cause of their problems and without the leadership of a good mom and dad and the protection of decades of long-lasting love and affection, the children end up destroyed in the process. They grow up and vote for big government to replace the parents they never had. This poor education took advantage of them like some pervert dressed in a Santa suit. They ended up empty in a wasteland of possibilities that never came to them, making them ill-prepared to have their own families. And this mess all starts with the garbage we teach our kids in public education and the losers who teach them in those horrible places. I would call them the dens of evil because their purpose is the undoing of the American family, which is the key to any great society. And their purposeful destruction of the family concept is all the evidence anybody needs of their actual intentions. Their lifestyles are only the evidence of such a dark and maniacal device, intent on the complete destruction of our way of life and putting in place a mother government that seeks to rule us all with a jealous zeal to satisfy an insatiable and corrupt heart.

Thank God For The “Pearl Clutchers” of Lakota: What Matt Miller said……….

It’s not false accusations or character assassination to repeat what a person says about themselves. Matt Miller, the highly political superintendent at Lakota schools, has said quite a lot. He told police during a recent interview that he and his wife would “role-play” and engage in “pillow talk,” which on one occasion included a discussion of drugging, molesting, and recording three kids. That is consistent with the divorce statements made by his wife that were revealed in a recent police report. His wife also correlated that Miller asked her to babysit the three kids (who are children in the Lakota school district from people they knew as a couple), drug them, molest them, and record herself in sexual activity. She says she did not do any of that. She also said that Miller asked her to have sex with their son and his friends. Those aspects of Matt Miller’s private life were part of a Cincinnati Enquire article that came out on September 28th, 2022, titled “Lakota Superintendent Investigation: Here’s what we know.” It’s worth reading, to say the least. There is a lot more to the story that the police would eventually report that were consensual adults’ actions. The part with the children falls within the realm of fantasy and isn’t against the law by itself.    An audit of his phone records only costs $5000.00 and likely would be worth doing, especially since that same article, and the police report, indicates that there were naked pictures of children sent to his wife from Matt Miller’s phone, and that would certainly be a crime. But that would open up a whole new can of worms, and many people are having trouble with what they currently know. This has been one of those cases that is a nightmare for any community. I would argue that it’s good to know these things about the people we pay for as public employees. But some people would rather not know which is the real story. As outrageous as Matt Miller’s sex life reported by him has been, the community reaction to it is the real indicator of the cause.  

The shock has come from the community’s reaction to this story; many people are angry that there were whistleblowers who reported this story. But they aren’t angry at all about what Matt Miller, as a superintendent, has done, which he has admitted to. Given how he gave his statements at the end of the school board meeting held on September 28th, there is obviously a lot more to the story. If he has admitted to what he has, just think of what he still hasn’t. Which is the reason he worked during his divorce to keep his online dating profiles out of that case, especially the Ashley Madison and Tinder accounts, which his legal representation claimed would reveal Miller’s most private and intimate disclosures exposed solely to embarrass him and not for reasons relevant to the case. Well, the best way to not be embarrassed by such things is not to do them.   And it should be expected that a public figure like Matt Miller would know better than to engage in any socially reckless behavior, let alone as much as he obviously has. Many defenders of Matt Miller are hoping for a broader legal defense of him due to the perceived character assassination. Well, that would be interesting, considering what we know. Legal action beyond divorce court would allow much more to be learned during discovery, and that forensic audit of the phone records would put much to rest. And these dating profiles would undoubtedly be relevant to how he has conducted himself as a paid employee of the Lakota school system. Yet, the worst of the news likely is that which he has already admitted to police under his own voluntary response during the police report investigation that was reported in detail in the Enquirer article. 

The Miller defenders have turned to call the whistleblowers “Pearl Clutchers,” indicating that their high moral standards are somehow bad. But if people can’t look at this case and not see bad, what does that say about them? Or the kids they are raising? Why has the school board been so slow to act on this? What does that say about them? The previous board members, some of who were voted out during the last election, knew much of this information, but they kept Matt anyway; they even gave him a raise. What were they thinking? Apparently, many people truly think that the drugging of kids and talking about molesting them is normal behavior, and that has been the most stunning aspect of the entire ordeal. Rather than be angry at Matt Miller, they have taken the teacher’s union strategy of attacking the whistleblowers with derogatory terminology like “pearl clutchers, or huggers” and stating that it’s not good to “judge” other people. Well, it is good to judge; it is what makes us all different from animals. Animals do what they are biologically programmed to do. Humans can take memory and experience and make future judgments based on intellectual history, which is what education of any kind is supposed to do. If we have so many people rationalizing animal behavior, which is all that sex is, then there isn’t much hope for any of them on any topic.

We can’t even have an intelligent discussion about CRT and sexual grooming in the classroom if they will rationalize the drugging and molestation of children as a fantasy. When a public employee is in charge of 17,000 students, if they can’t see something wrong with that information, there is no discussion on other matters that can be relevant. People should be able to agree that any sex with children is bad, whether in practice or in “pillow talk.” But obviously, what has been revealed is that people in the Lakota school district can’t even agree on that. This is why Matt Miller seems oblivious to why anybody is even upset about his sexual lifestyle. That is how far society, in general, has fallen. Matt Miller is a product of that fall. Not the cause.  Trying to appeal to him on any sexual concerns at Lakota schools would obviously be a worthless enterprise.

When Matt Miller stated at the school board that these attacks on him started a few years ago, he was right. But he dismissed the cause as if it had nothing to do with it. Matt Miller has openly worked to eliminate whatever school board members have been elected that were conservative. He recently pushed to force Todd Parnell to resign over woke statements, and Darbi Boddy wasn’t on the board for more than a few days before the push to get rid of her started. He has played vicious political hardball, so he should have expected much action to come back in his direction. But the way he handled Covid caused most of his current political problems and created such a storm that many Republican moms in the background were thinking of joining Darbi Boddy on the school board. Matt Miller made himself into the Lakota version of Dr. Fauci and Gretchen Whitmore with his mask policies and yielding all control of Lakota school over to the Butler County Health Department and their ridiculous mask policies.

Nobody expected that what would come out about Matt Miller would be all these bizarre sexual lifestyle revelations. And by themselves, they might be gross. We would expect a person leading an education environment to be less animal and more human in what they think about. But when he says to police on a police report that is then reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer where he was willing to admit that he asked his wife to drug, molest, and videotape three kids, that we are all supposed to accept that it was just pillow talk and move on, there is a major disconnect with reality. And that people who find that behavior outrageous are somehow the real problem as “pearl clutchers.” It should be that 100% of the Lakota community should find any sexual behavior toward kids as terrible, whether thought about or acted upon. Yet that is not the case. The “pearl clutchers” are not welcomed in this discussion and are hated for pointing out what people don’t want to see. And revealed in that underbelly of our society is the real problem, a story that is much worse than anything Matt Miller has done. And by his own admission, that is quite a thing to consider.

Darbi Boddy Gets the Sam Adams Award: What people want out of school boards

It was ironic to attend the Patriot Awards at the historic 20th Century Theater in Oakley, Ohio, to see Darbi Boddy get the Sam Adams Award for constitutional preservation and outstanding patriotism while the radical elements of Lakota schools were petitioning a judge in Butler County to remove her from the Lakota school board. Two different views of the world couldn’t be further apart. Since Darbi entered her first term as a school board member at Lakota, activated due to her concern for the way things had been going in public schools, the politically left-leaning elements of the union-controlled Lakota were irate toward her very existence. And they have been pushing to have her utterly destroyed. Yet, there are lots of people happy to see Darbi Boddy fighting on their behalf, and here they were on a Saturday night during Memorial Day weekend, giving her an award for doing exactly what was making the radical elements of Lakota so angry. Darbi received her award and gave a nice little speech that clearly indicated she wasn’t about to resign from the school board, as the school administration was pushing for her to do. At the heart of the matter was a battle for who really controls public schools, elected officials or hired administrators. And the hired administrators were obviously fighting to maintain their assumption that they were in control and that the elected members of the school board were just token sentiments. So the battle lines were drawn up in Lakota schools for an issue that had emerged to be a national one most clearly expressed in the newly elected Darbi Boddy.

The teacher unions have established themselves as being in charge of all public schools. There has evolved a kind of mutual understanding that nobody questioned so long as parents had the free babysitting service of public education. A superintendent would be inserted to be a mediator between the progressive radicals of the union and the school board elected by the public. As soon as school board members were elected, they’d join the Ohio School Board Association and would learn the rules of conduct that the public would see. And the labor unions would then advocate for a more progressive political world shielded by the superintendent, who would take over the management tasks from the school board. While the school boards worried about all the rules of their endeavor, the radical progressives in the labor unions were putting the focus on pay, benefits, and whether or not there were gay rights celebrated at the school, and all references toward God and country removed from the instruction of the children. I’ve been pointing these things out for several decades, and it’s taken people a while to accept these conditions as a reality. I knew at some point there was going to be a wall that the whole thing would hit; I figured it would happen during the Trump administration. But really, it took Covid to bring it out, as mad moms saw what was really going on in the classrooms because the lockdowns broke the cycle of free babysitting that had been occurring. Parents had time to think about how serious the problem really was in public education. 

For all those who hate Darbi Boddy, I can report that there are many like her out there. Darbi is one of the best that I’ve run across who may be able to save some aspects of public education because she genuinely cares about the school and the kids in it. And their parents. But the fight to go back to what labor unions used to have, a superintendent who would run cover for all their bad conduct and continue to ask for perpetual raises regardless of performance, is over. Getting rid of Darbi Boddy won’t put that mess back together; it was always destined to hit the wall of public perception. Darbi is just the first brick in that wall they’ve come in contact with. Like bell-bottoms and disco attire were come-and-go fashions from the 70s, this period of union control of public schools will be viewed as archaic and embarrassing in hindsight. The future of public education is not in the union’s control of them. Like all institutions that labor unions have controlled, they have driven them out of business because they insist on the organization’s management control. But they do not make management decisions; they make emotional ones, so their efforts fail everywhere they are tried, especially in public education. To hide their failure, they use the superintendent to hide their incompetence behind high wages and get the school boards to chase their tails through rules and regulations—something I call “procedural camouflage.” Well, that’s no longer acceptable, and taxpayers are finally figuring out the story with public schools; they aren’t worth the money, aren’t teaching kids the right things, and are open sores in their communities for progressive politics. While the school boards try to play by the rules, the crimes of public schools are hidden behind the rules. 

That is why there was so much anger at Darbi Boddy for immediately going around the rules to get to the heart of the matter, in challenging the power structure of the superintendent and his protection over his flock of unionized teachers. Within the culture of Lakota, of course, Darbi was hated. And voters cast in her favor because they wanted her to do that particular job. They wanted her to seek media attention to get the story out so that it couldn’t be contained within the structure of institutionalism and concealed from the view of voters. And while she was being vilified at school board meetings and in the halls of the schools the way most bosses are by incompetent employees, at the Patriot Awards, Darbi was getting applause for patriotism under fire and doing what many didn’t have the guts to do, stand up to the corrosive elements of public education and dare to ask questions that nobody wanted to answer. I tend to see Darbi Boddy as the best thing that has happened to Lakota schools. Public education, in general, is undergoing major changes. The labor unions will not be able to remain in control as they have been. Soon, the public money that the schools divide up like pirates after a robbery on the high seas will go to the kids. It will only take the next Republican presidential administration with a Republican-controlled House and Senate that will take the power of the Department of Education away completely, as Ronald Reagan had promised back in the early 80s. His failure to do that has caused much of the trouble we see today, which new politicians like Darbi are coming forth to challenge. Soon, it will gain national steam, and the political capital will be present to change the entire structure. There are already 1.5 million kids who stepped away from public education because of Covid. That number is increasing due to the obvious CRT teachings and the transgender politics that so many parents find objectionable as a public policy. Public schools have done it to themselves. Lakota will be glad that they had these disputes with Darbi early in the future. Maybe they can use this conflict to get in front of the inevitable, and Lakota can find a way to be relevant in the ways of the future. Holding on to the past where the unions ran everything, and the superintendents ran cover for the unions is over. And that wasn’t the fault of Darbi Boddy. She’s doing what the voters want.   Lakota schools were the ones caught going in the wrong direction.

Government Schools are Like Dirty Public Toilets: If you gotta go, you go

Public Schools are like Public Toilets

I often say about public education that it’s like using a Porta-Potty at an outdoor concert full of drunks after waiting for an hour in a long line in the hot summer sun as opposed to a nice private bathroom in your master bedroom.  I mean, if you gotta go, you use the damn thing.  But optimally, you want the nice one off your bedroom.  Public education is garbage and has been really since its inception.  I try to help make the public school in my district better by electing good people into office. Still, so long as the progressive labor unions run the government schools and a corrupt communist-oriented Department of Education sets the policy, there isn’t much hope for public schools.  And that’s the real point from the government and why the governor race in Virginia is competitive.  Parents after Covid have heard the quiet stuff out loud, and it has scared them.  Your children are not your children, they are possessions of the state, and with that simple revelation, Terry McAuliffe uttered that which was never meant to be said in public.  The true intentions of the entire progressive movement, the micromanagement of every aspect of our lives, and the theft of our children to turn them into communist insurgents.  Thankfully this year, and this 2021 election, we have options.  But the damage is decades old and is nothing new to me. 

I started this blog site over a decade ago to cover the stories our local newspapers wouldn’t cover about gross sexual acts teachers routinely committed against the students of my home district of Lakota.  This latest terror in Loudoun County, Virginia, where a guy dressed up as a girl raped two girls brutally in a bathroom, is not unusual in public education. What’s unique about this one is that it involved the trans bathroom controversy, which is going on in most public schools.  The issue is hot in Lakota, which is in northern Cincinnati.  A majority of the current school board members supported it, which is why there are so many candidates seeking to knock them out during this election.  But this has been going on all over the United States because it comes from the Department of Education essentially and the talking points of the teacher’s unions who are entirely in support of all the Democrat Party platforms.  The trans condition is a new wrinkle to the old problem of school boards covering up this bad behavior from the parents to keep all this bad behavior undercover.  Newspapers and local television will cover the football games and all the feel-good stories but ignore all the vile sex abuse in just about every corner.  A quick search of my blog site will list hundreds of stories that I have covered, and those are just the tip of the iceberg. There’s a lot more that goes on that nobody will ever find out about. 

I ran into a lot of trouble with Lakota when I covered a grade school teacher taking naked pictures and sexually abusing students in the classroom.  This was ten years ago, and the school board very much wanted to cover up the whole case.  They thought that I was hurting real estate values in our community by slamming the school by me covering it.  They worried that people wouldn’t move to the neighborhood because everyone knew that schools were the only reason people bought homes.  Most adults in my community didn’t want to hear about the sexual molestation of children by school employees because it might hurt property values.  So the coverups continued.  Ten years later, one of the people running for this year’s school board is Vanessa Wells, who had her daughter threatened with murder in Lakota.  Of course, the school board tried to cover it up and attempted to suppress the story, which was a considerable court case.  Vanessa became tired of being a victim, so she put her name in the ring to become a school board member.  Truthfully, the way to solve the problem is to elect good school board members. Still, until recently, until some of these stories started being talked about because parents realized during Covid shutdowns what was going on in the schools, nobody wanted to discuss it.  Parents were happy to get the free babysitting service, and they didn’t want to know the bad stuff.  People voted for big progressive school board people, and the unions ran all over them.  In that way, government schools became like that public toilet that nobody cleaned, and people pissed all over, then expected good results.  

I’m happy to hear that more and more parents are homeschooling their children.  My kids are homeschooling their kids, and the resources I see there are amazing for them.  When my kids were young, my wife and I homeschooled them at various times.  One issue was when the school demanded we give our kids sex education in the 4th grade.  We had to pull our kids out of school because the political pressure was so great that it became impossible to send them to school.  My kids both spent their senior years of high school in Europe, where they were learning about life in real-time, not just reading about it in some art class where their classmates were plotting all the ways they would get drunk on a Friday night at a football game.  I learned firsthand that public schools were a waste of time and were evil in their social intentions, so I’m not surprised at all at the news stories now. I’m happy that so many people have finally caught on to what I’ve been saying for three decades.  The straw that finally broke the back of public education was the overstep of progressive politics, first with Covid, then by driving the transexual issues of unisex bathrooms. 

I am encouraged by each election, as they are all opportunities for positive changes back to tradition.  But the brand of government schools is forever damaged.  A few years ago, if I had said that public schools were equivalent to a dirty public toilet, many people would come to their defense.  But not today.  Now, most people are just saying, “yeah, you’re right.” Public schools and their government overlords and labor unions have done it to themselves.  But none more than Terry McAuliffe letting the cat out of the bag at a debate with his challenger in Virginia for the governor race.  It’s true; public schools have always sought to steal our children, to use them, to abuse them, to turn them into Anti-American activists. It’s the system itself that is at fault.  It was broken from the start, and the school board’s job was not to manage the district and the money but to lay cover for all the crimes because the value of the school to the community was much more important than the kids themselves.  So great evils were perpetuated, and the expectation was to always cover it up from the parents so they’d keep paying for the higher taxes and keep running on the treadmill to fuel the whole enterprise, never questioning anything.  But times have changed, and I think it’s for the better, as ugly as it is.  It’s about time that everyone admits what the problem has always been.  Public schools are dirty and messy, and if you love your child, you would never send them there.  Ever.

The Progressive Labor Union, LEA endorses Trent Emeneker: Hoping to slide a liberal under the door for West Chester Trustee

The LEA Endorses Trent Emeneker

At this point, it’s pretty well known that the challenger for the West Chester trustee seat in Butler County, Ohio, Trent Emeneker, is not a conservative.  He has stated that he’s a registered Republican. Still, much of what he talks about, like wanting to turn West Chester into a big bureaucratic city full of city council positions and other nonsense, is excessively liberal.  It didn’t help that he did a meet and greet at Liberty Center’s AC Hotel hosted by an activist Democrat.  So Trent has loads of problems even before a single-yard sign was ever put into the ground.  But as if all that were not enough, the LEA (Lakota Education Association) has endorsed Trent, which is essentially the kiss of death in Butler County.  The LEA, of course, is the ultra-progressive labor union that runs the Lakota school system.  They work under the umbrella of the Ohio Education Association, and ultimately the National Education Association, which everyone knows by now are essentially PAC groups for Democrats and the advancement of progressive causes.  Those not sure what progressive causes are responsible for should know that they are encouraging sex education in early grade school and transsexual bathrooms.  I would go as far as to say that it is an evil organization of radical politics intent on the destruction of the United States.  But judge for yourself.  What matters is that they have endorsed Trent Emeneker and hope to squeak him under the door in an off-year race that typically has low voter turnout. 

There is nothing good that comes out of the LEA.  They essentially protect bad teachers from being fired and lobby to pay them too much money to do it.  They are wholly committed to the destruction of America as we know it.  They collect money from their union dues and apply it directly to Democrats nationwide.  If you can think of something terrible about government schools, and I can think of a lot, the root cause of the trouble goes back to teacher unions, especially the NEA.  So long as they exist and have a footprint of any kind in our schools with our children, there is no hope of making those schools better.  People understand that more now than they did even a few years ago.  At Lakota, there is an opportunity to vote for new school board members to replace the current ones, which might stand against these teacher unions better than we’ve had in the past.  Usually, there is no defense on the school board.  The LEA essentially runs everything, including putting their candidates on the board as they are trying again this year with Kelley Casper, Michael Pearl, and Doug Horton.  There are finally options this year with actual Republican endorsed candidates.  Many people are running, so voter turnout will have to be high to defeat the incumbent’s LEA has also endorsed.  So we’ll see if voters take advantage of this opportunity with great voter turnout on election day, November 2nd. 

The LEA endorses Trent Emeneker for West Chester Trustee

It is just that kind of low voter turnout that the LEA hopes push the liberal Trent Emeneker into a West Chester Trustee seat.  They usually have their activists who always show up to vote and preserve their intent to destroy America.  So Republican voters will have to show up and defend themselves to keep that from happening.  But as to Trent’s intent, there is no doubt about it now that the LEA has endorsed him on their web page.  When you have the LEA behind you, you know that a vast evil is not far behind.  Everything the LEA does is rooted in some destruction for the American way of life and the families that make the country great.  Behind all teacher union activities are actions intended to attack family and its institution to a progressive need.  Suppose there are members of the LEA who call themselves Republicans and just go along for the great six-figure paycheck at Lakota. In that case, they are doing like all RINOs do, help evil get a foothold into our lives with the death whisper of compliance which is silently killing our country as we speak.  Those teachers in the LEA are just as bad as the purple-headed progressives advocating gay rights, critical race theory, and globalism by saying nothing and letting evil have its way in the world. 

Trent has tried to sell himself as an old military guy hoping that blind allegiance to service might make people ignore his obvious liberalism.  His biggest complaint about the current West Chester trustees is spending a few million dollars on landscaping for the new Union Center exchange.  He considers that fiscal irresponsibility.  Yet West Chester is operating in the black, which is how it should be, and considering the amount of GDP produced at that highway exit, the landscaping costs are easily justified.  Oddly enough, at a recent debate where Trent tried to make an issue of this cost, it was Lee Wong who best slapped him down for it.  Now everyone knows I’m not a huge Lee Wong fan, one of the current trustees.  But next to Trent Emeneker, Lee sounds like Donald Trump.  Lee explained well the need for the landscaping in a very Trump-like way.  Union Center in West Chester is one of the premier spots in the entire country for economic activity.  I would put the GDP moving through that exit among the top in the country.  There is nothing wrong with having some nice flowers there to greet the mass commerce that occurs.   Of course, nobody talks about that the LEA is against all capitalist activity as they are socialists and communists in their origins.  They are “the vote red for ed” types. The red is the red flag of communism, so for Trent to attack a few flowers when Lakota is bleeding hundreds of millions of dollars into these LEA employees advocating against family values, small government ideas, and the promotion of the religion of climate change, Trent proves he’s just a stooge for the LEA liberalism and not interested in fiscal responsibility.  If he indeed were, the LEA would never endorse him because all they want is a run-away wallet with no limit on the credit card. 

So remember as you vote that the LEA endorsed Trent Emeneker.  I don’t think it will change anything.  The same several thousand people who will vote to keep the current big spenders on the Lakota school board will vote for Trent as a trustee.  But there are a lot more Republicans in Butler County than Democrats.  It will all come down to voter turnout.  If you don’t want to see more LEA liberalism contaminating our community, then be sure to get out on election night and vote. Don’t just show up and vote for Trump or the mid-terms.  Vote now and for the same reasons, defend your turf from these radical progressives and their plans of doom for our children.  And know when you vote that Trent Emeneker is one of them.  The LEA does not endorse Republicans, not real ones.  They are out to destroy conservative politics so they would never put their name next to anybody who won’t help them do just that.  Trent is a big government guy, which is why they want him.  But, if you show up to vote, you can stop their plans.  So, could you not take it for granted?  The time for action is coming up; make sure you are part of the solution.

Lynda O’Connor Stands Up to Mask Mandates at Lakota: Pushing back against peer pressure to do the right thing

Whether or not anybody likes it, wearing masks in public or private to fight a viral outbreak is a Democrat thing that Republicans resent.  Masks show stupidity and a backward approach to science that thoughtful people find objectionable.  To put all your trust into experts in a field only to discover they are corrupt, stupid, superstitious, or worse—truly up to no good is a party-line thing that has stoked the fires of division, and that’s only going to get worse over time.  People’s unity under governor-driven executive orders under emergency conditions was a cry wolf moment that will never come back.  And that has left public schools since they are government institutions on the front line to do what they always do, hide behind children to evoke some progressive cause.  This is precisely what happened to Lakota, the school district in my neighborhood.  They have been one of the first to implement a mask mandate in the schools, which has angered parents. I’ve gone to school board meetings for years, and I’ve never seen one as contentious as this one, shown in the video included.  Of the five school board members, only one has done what the area Republicans expected. That is to refuse to wear the mask during public meetings. That has caused the union labor socialists to isolate her to direct their anger.  I have known Lynda O’Conner for several years, and she represents most of the people who reside within Lakota.  At the meeting, I intended to speak about how much I appreciate that Lynda was not wearing a mask and showed that someone on the board hadn’t been suckered into the mask mandate nonsense.  But after the parade of angry parents took turns criticizing the school board, it was clear I didn’t need to say anything.  Finally, in Lakota, other people were willing to do that, which was good to see.  If anything good came out of the mask mandates, it was that it had brought these divisions to the surface so that we can finally have these arguments.

I could talk all day about how wrong masks are from an individual point of view. I’ve traveled to Asia, and I saw the mask-wearing that went on well before Covid ever hit.  In eastern cultures, they are compliance masks because the intent was to make the wearers superstitious to the mysteries of science and place the government ahead of all spirituality to become like a religion.  I figured while traveling that some bone-headed idiot in government would try to implement mask-wearing in the United States, which I was sure would be a problem.  There are always submissive types, too lazy, too stupid, too scared to think for themselves, who will do what a government says and put on a mask to fight a viral outbreak.  But in an area like the Lakota school district, many people are pretty smart Republicans and can think critically who think such an approach is one of the dumbest things anybody could do.  There are treatments for Covid, in hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin, that are science and should be used to treat any outbreak.  But it’s evident that there is politics behind the virus, and not everyone is willing to play along.  Masks have become a symbol of submission to a sickness that Republicans find inconceivably stupid because scientific treatments could have ended Covid a year ago.  Instead, Democrats are using Covid to drive progressive needs, which has exposed school boards all over the country into playing along and forcing children to put on masks to get an education.

At the beginning of the Lakota school board meeting, you can hear it in their voices; the members had been planning to explain away all their problems with Covid to the local and state health department.  The ridiculous quarantine periods for anybody coming down with Covid or being near someone with the virus were missing many days of school. It was impossible to plan for teachers who would be out or bus drivers and other staff members.  So to appease the government, Lakota instituted a mask mandate for students, teachers, and staff, and magically the quarantine periods were minimized.  Because the health departments got what they wanted, the schools implemented a superstitious mask policy based on no science.  In effect, it was a bunch of Democrats who could suddenly boss around a bunch of Republicans and making them submissive to the party line.  When it comes to electing people to run things on our behalf, we elected the school board, and we expected them to put up more resistance on our behalf.  We didn’t elect the health department people who had no power to do anything, not even decide the quarantine period.  No legislation will hold up in court backing a health directive on quarantine periods, mask mandates, or mandatory vaccines.  Only stupid, lazy people would fall for such a thing, so the parents that night at the school board had a right to be angry, and that anger isn’t going to go away.  People pay a lot of money in taxes to Lakota, so for it to turn toward the Democrat superstitions of virus management is something most Republicans aren’t willing to do.  And of the school board members, only Lynda O’Conner stood firm and represented the people of the district adequately. 

At the end of the meeting, Lynda spoke about the pressure she was feeling by not wearing a mask on the board as one parent had attempted to get her in trouble over her position.  The mask shaming is a problem that Democrats brought on themselves.  The attempt to use peer pressure to invoke actual policy has not forced compliance; it has instead brought out intense anger.  When people wonder why we are so divided as a nation, Democrats have attempted to drag Republicans into socialism and communism.  And they have tried to hide those attempts behind health directives.  Most health officials could easily be working in communist China because their ideology is aligned with such dictatorships.  I admired Lynda for being the only member not to wear a mask.  Sure, I understand peer pressure.  I feel it too, but I’m always the only one of the first to do things in my life.  If there is a room full of a million people with masks on and I’m the only one not wearing one, I wouldn’t feel a moment’s pressure to put one on to conform.  Conformity to peer pressure is a largely Democrat thing.   Republicans tend to think on their own, so as long as Democrats try to shove Republicans into some blind compliance, there will be a fight or many fights.  A school board like Lakota should know better and strive to represent the community they are functioning in.  But most of the board and their employees are progressive types, so they quickly adopted the mask mandates to drive the social narrative.  And now they have been caught on it and are on the hook with the rage of the community.   No matter their personal feelings, they should have known better and respected the community they were operating in and pushed back against the health departments as our elected representatives.  Instead, they caved quickly and forced compliance on the rest of us, which is what the anger showed at that meeting was all about.

Why School Boards Never Listen

Brad Lovell of the Lakota school board in Northern Cincinnati is an excellent example of what’s wrong with public education.  Likely wherever you are reading this, you have your version of a Brad Lovell type.  You wonder why the school board never listens, and when they do, they give you appeasement answers, never really dealing with the actual problem.  When for instance, there are radical activists who push transexual bathrooms in a public education setting, and the school board never shows an inclination to deal with it or to go along with it and expect the community to live with their decision as it falls on deaf ears, you can know that for people like Brad, he’s using the school board to protect his nest eggs. Brad’s wife, for example, is a teacher at Lakota.  From his position on the board, he can protect her job and benefits in many indirect ways as a member of the school board, while building up his portfolio for a job like he just landed with Sycamore schools, just across town from Lakota as a Director of Business Operations.  This is ironic because he recently made it clear on the board that he wanted to blow all the reserve money at Lakota and to spend it into oblivion on completely useless renovations so that he could push another tax increase.  The school board punted this year on it, likely due to the election this fall, but Brad loves to spend money and has a big progressive mindset regarding public education, which other schools love, like Sycamore.  But Sycamore wouldn’t have known Brad from a hole in the ground had he not been a school board member in good standing with the teacher’s union at Lakota, which has provided him with a great networking opportunity to exploit.

You could go to virtually any school board in the United States and see the same behavior from the school board.  School boards were designed to be volunteer services by the community to manage their local school systems. Still, with the big international trade unions running the majority of the employees, community volunteers are often not equipped to deal with the political influences of these radical unions.  The union tactics are usually enough to keep good people from running.  That usually means what you get is someone like Brad Lovell, who wants a job in education and will do anything and endure everything to have it.  If the political pressures mean he needs to be a big-time progressive, then he’ll do it.  People like these types often tell themselves they are doing all this for their children, but the truth is, they love the public adulation and the feeling of community that all liberals enjoy.  That sense of community that liberal people crave like a blanket at night to hide under from the monsters they think is in their closet.  They are big spenders of other people’s money, and when people complain, they do nothing about the complaints.  Their real goal is to get the next big education job and show the system itself that they can be trusted to keep all the secrets in such places as public schools.

I could name off many cases over the years where a teacher or administrator would send naked pictures of themselves to students they fell in love with.  It happens more than you’d like to believe.  It’s always a frustrating mystery why school boards sit on their hands and do nothing about it.  Well, people like Brad don’t want to screw up their next big gig like going to Sycamore for a job as a “business director.” The goal of most school board candidates is to make friends and keep the image of the school on the high side.  Not to protect the students from predatory teachers or the eventualities of financial collapse because the teachers can’t live within a budget and always look to the school board to rubber-stamp everything.  Brad is on the record to be a tax increase supporter and active one.  So that makes him a member of the club in the school system and an attractive prospect at Sycamore.  They protect their own once it’s been established who they are.  Brad has managed to market himself as one of “them” since his election to the board in 2017. 

When a teacher or administrator gets in trouble with a student over sex, or other bad behavior, it is nearly impossible to fire them.   Instead, they reshuffle the deck in public education and move them to a different district.  After all, there’s not much difference between Sycamore, Lakota, Fairfield, or Cincinnati Public.  Young parents are not quite wise to the world’s ways think there are differences, which is why they buy homes in Lakota instead of downtown Cincinnati. Still, all government schools are rackets built only to support progressive causes, like Critical Race Theory and very high incomes for those who play along, like Brad Lovell, for a good paycheck and a chance to be someone in life.  What business is there in Sycamore for an Operations Director?  The product is our children.  Schools don’t sell anything; they just take, take, take from those who produce things in the world.  What is meant by a Director of Business Development is someone who can set the image of the school into something that can get the subsequent tax increase passed.  And Brad needed to take a job like that before he ruined himself by trying to push Lakota through a levy increase.  A few failures at the voting booth often destroy the brands of the administrators guilty of supporting tax increases for quite a long time. 

The critical thing to know is that this is the nature of the game for school boards, so when you wonder why they never get involved in problems like transexual bathrooms or critical race theory, and your cries fall on deaf ears, now you know why.  The school board people themselves don’t take money for the jobs. Still, they use the positions to build them up for other things later, like a nice, high-paying administrative job that is just a token position to justify another tax increase on property owners.  That is the aim of the teacher unions, which are very committed to abolishing private property as a communist goal from the beginning.  Most teachers in these public-school unions aren’t sitting around reading Karl Marx.  But where else can they make six figures with their worthless skills?  And where else could someone like Brad Lovell be considered an “administrator” of any worth?  Government jobs are done for the dreary average who surrender thought to the system. Those employees aren’t asking questions about ideology so long as they are getting paid within the system.  And that’s why Brad will never listen to concerned parents as a Lakota school board member.  Because across town during the day, he is one of the paid stooges who is making big money off the public education system.  And he won’t do anything to jeopardize that job, which is why they picked him.  It doesn’t matter if a race war started in the school provoked by inaction by the board.  Brad and the board might answer an email with sympathies.  But they won’t change the behavior, ever, because they work and live off the system itself.  And they like the results a lot more than they like your kids. That’s why nothing ever happens and why school boards will continue to not listen to concerned parents and will continue to lay down and lick the feet of the corrupt teacher unions without ever a challenge.

I have been enjoying lately the company of people who are just starting to figure out how bad public education truly is.  Maybe the best thing about Covid and its disaster has been forcing parents to think of alternative babysitting services for their children.  You know how I always say that liberals love to plan, but they never know what to do once they get where they want to go.  That is what liberals did to themselves over Covid and using it as an excuse to stay home from work.  Now that people have had a taste of life without public schools, now they can afford to ask questions about it that they may have never dared to ask before.  And now they can see just what vile institutions of progressive intrusions that they have been all along.  Now that they are speaking out against Critical Race Theory and other liberal causes taught in taxpayer-funded schools, we may see a ray of hope yet in a future for education in general.  And that is a good thing.
